American digital art pioneer and OG algorist Roman Verostko dies, aged 94, in his Minneapolis home. Active since the 1970s, the SIGGRAPH, ARTEC, and Ars Electronica honouree showed at major institutions (V&A London, Centre Pompidou, ZKM Karlsruhe), paving the way for generative artists today. In 2021, the Verostko Center for the Art opened to celebrate his legacy.
