2021

  • All the (critical tech and culture) news that’s fit to print: the HOLO INDEX foregrounds fine-grained details from the wild 2021 news cycle. It (re)presents key events, facts, figures, and artifacts from the 674 entries added to the HOLO news timeline that year. Ephemeral moments are frozen in enduring print in a playful composition of wordplay, data points, economic flows, corporate malfeasance, vintage tech, and some of GPT-3’s greatest hits. Each eclectic nugget of info is accompanied by a four-number code, which can be input into an online interface to jump directly to the original news post.
